The Lexington/Rockbridge Area Minister’s Alliance will sponsor a Community Pre-Thanksgiving Worship Service on Monday, Nov. 24, at 6 p.m. in the historic First Baptist Church located 103 N. Main St. in downtown Lexington.
The preacher will be Father Maxwell, pastor of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church of Lexington.
A freewill offering will be taken for the people of Jamaica who were affected by the recent hurricane.
The Rev. McKinley A. Williams is the pastor of First Baptist Church.
