Mark England, NASA Solar System Ambassador, will present “Area 51: History of the Military Base” at the Glasgow Public Library on Monday, Oct. 20, at 6 p.m.
The once secret Air Force base in southern Nevada served as the testing ground for the U-2 spy plane and has been associated with numerous UFO sightings.
England became a Solar System Ambassador in 2023. He lives in Buchanan and serves as a docent at the Belk Observatory in Bedford.
