DeLaney Center Work In Spotlight

Washington and Lee University’s DeLaney Center will host a “DeLaney Center Spotlight” program Thursday, Oct. 23, at 4:30 p.m. in Leyburn Library’s Northen Auditorium.

The program will feature testimonials from participants in the 2025 Freedom Ride pre-orientation trip and this summer’s Washington, D.C., Interns program. The program will also introduce the DC Leads cohort, a group of undergraduate liaisons who will receive leadership training, moderate events, and pursue partnerships with on- and off-campus organizations that advance the center’s mission.

The DeLaney Center encourages civic excellence through the study of Southern race relations, culture, and politics. Individuals often consider how they can contribute to a better world. The DeLaney Center shares such concerns and invites people to join in its mission to advance social improvement.

Light refreshments will be served.
