An Afternoon At The Old Mill

An Afternoon At The Old Mill

The weather couldn’t have been more perfect for this year’s McCormick Mill Day, held at the historic McCormick farm in Raphine this past Saturday. ABOVE, children were invited to play on the antique tractors in front of the mill. AT LEFT, Glenn Wilson of Brownsburg speaks to a visitor about how the mill operates. BELOW LEFT, Mary Cash of Saint Mary’s Apiaries talks to a guest about the process of jarring honey. BELOW RIGHT, members of the Raphine Volunteer Fire Company make kettle corn. (Joann Ware photos)

AT LEFT, children sit with a litter of Feist puppies, who found that a shade tree was the perfect place for afternoon naps. (Joann Ware photo)
