Special music was provided at the Collierstown United Methodist Church in recognition of Hispanic Heritage month on Sunday, Sept. 28. Angela Montague offered a musical solo singing in Spanish during the worship hour. The church’s cleanup day is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 9, beginning at 9 a.m. Preparation of the church building and the grounds will be completed for the 185th Homecoming Day that will be held Sunday, Oct. 12, at 11 a.m. The community is invited to join the congregation for this special day of celebration.
The Night Circle of the Collierstown Presbyterian will hold its monthly meeting tomorrow, Thursday, Oct. 2, at 7 p.m. in the church’s fellowship hall. Area women interested in participating are invited to attend in person or virtually. The Bible study will be aired on Facebook Live from the church’s Facebook page at 7 p.m.
There will be a kitchen and fellowship hall clean-up day on Saturday, Oct. 4, beginning at 8 a.m. at the Collierstown Presbyterian Church. All Presbyterian Women and friends are invited to come and help with building preparation for the church’s annual dinner that will be held on Saturday, Nov. 1, from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m.
