Beware, it came to my attention after two young men came to our door last week trying to set up a meeting with someone one else to come discuss solar panels, that these kids were probably scammers. There were several posts on social media about such an encounter in other areas of the county. When I told them I had already talked to someone and had signed a contract for solar panels, they decided to make a quick departure.
There will be a joint public hearing on Tuesday, Oct. 14, at 7 p.m. with the Town Council and Planning Commission concerning certain zoning ordinances dealing with outdoor storage, addressing barking dogs, nuisances, and dogs running at large/leash laws; and maintenance issues like inoperable vehicles, tall grass and weeds, unsafe structures, etc. The meeting will take place at the newly acquired Glasgow Event Center meeting room at 908 Anderson St. – the former Glasgow Presbyterian Church property.
