The summer-long water project in town is scheduled for completion by Oct. 1.
A nice young man named Gabriel is speaking to folks in town about signing up for Brightspeed internet service. There is also a representative named Marston with a solar company out of Lynchburg talking with citizens about solar panels for the home.
Mike Bradley of Mike’s Outdoor Decor and More and his mother, Carolyn, took part in the Boones Mill Fall Festival last Saturday, Sept. 13. Mike picked up his mom before daylight, and as she departed the house and started between her car and pickup his headlights illuminated a huge spider web with a very large spider in the middle of it. She was thankful she saw it before walking into it!
