Rachel Clark, (630) 607-9938 [email protected] The Clarks are back at New Monmouth Presbyterian Church! It was good to be all together on Sunday morning. The Clarks shared about and brought pictures of some of their adventures and worship experiences.
The Clarks remarked about how grateful they were for the support they received from the church community. They look forward to sharing what their experience was like and to hearing from members about what the experience meant for them.
Thank you to Sarah Dunlap, the Ukeladies (Joann Blouin, Karen Duff, Hope Bird, and Teresa Thompson) and Ray Blouin, and Casey, Rachel and Calvin Clark for leading music Sunday morning.
Alanna Conner shared her excitement that her family has been living in Rockbridge County for 26 years now.
Nancy Sensabaugh gave praise that her daughter Ella Mae and family (Gary and Renee) were able to worship with us Sunday morning.
The New Monmouth choir will be back to singing on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 Anyone interested in joining is welcome to come and meet at church. We will be practicing a few songs and looking at some Christmas cantatas.
Lunch Bunch will be meeting tomorrow, Thursday, at 12:30 p.m. at the Sunrise Diner. Lunch Bunch is open to anyone who wants to come out and share a meal together.
Saturday the youth group will be working at the Old Monmouth cemetery from 10 to noon. Anyone is welcome to join them.
We welcome lay leaders to continue to help lead the worship services. Let the Clarks know if you would like to help with prayers, readings, announcements or more.
Help is still needed for the youngest Sunday school class. See Lauren Welsh. We also need a nursery worker.
We are putting together a photo directory so new members, shut-ins, members that live away and those of us who have been here a while can learn names and faces. See Karen Duff before or after Sunday school or church to have your picture taken.
