High Bridge began Rally Day this past Sunday with a breakfast of pancakes and quiche at 10 a.m. Regular Sunday school classes begin Sept. 14. Teachers were introduced at worship. They are Dwinnie Shafer and Mary Carson Worley, kindergarten through first grade; Carol Tolley and Connie Powell, second through fourth grades; Christy Black and Shasta Armentrout, fifth through seventh grades; and John McCoy and Faye Worley, adult class. On Aug. 31, the Mission Statement and Psalms 119 were read by Carolyn and Julianne Lotts. This past Sunday, our “first pastor” was read by Kayla Thompson, and Cody, Colin, and Kevin Thompson ‘rode horseback’ to attend.
