Gospel music by Rodney Nice and Family is in the offing at Haines Chapel’s homecoming service this Sunday, Sept. 14.
A covered-dish style picnic will begin at 1 p.m. Those attending are asked to bring a favorite dish and drink. Plates, cups, etc., will be provided.
Haines Chapel is located between Vesuvius and Montebello on Va. 56, adjacent to the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is listed in the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.
