Those attending Fairfield Heritage Day on Saturday enjoyed a day full of eating and shopping. Breakfast was served at Fairfield Presbyterian Church (at upper left), the South River Volunteer Fire Department grilled barbecue chicken (at far left), members of Fairfield United Methodist Church (at immediate left) served up both homemade ice cream and hot dogs, and Shenandoah Valley Kettle Corn (bottom center) also offered treats. Meanwhile, Buddy and Oliver (goats) helped entertain the crowd. (Stephanie Mikels Blevins photos)
