2025 Fair Books and Expo

The Rockbridge Regional Fair and Expo will be held at the Virginia Horse Center Thursday, Sept. 11, through Saturday, Sept. 13, with a special carnival preview and farm activities Wednesday, Sept. 10.

Free copies of this year’s fair book are available at the Rockbridge Extension Office, Farm Credit of the Virginias, Virginia Farm Bureau Office, Rockbridge Co-Op, Spencer Home Center, Tractor Supply, Cattlemen’s Market and several other local businesses around Rockbridge.

Click on “2025 Expo” in the upper right-hand corner to find out more about the Exposition in particular. Special thanks to Rockbridge County Homesteaders for providing leadership for the expo.

Expo and special contest exhibits may be dropped off at the Reel Arena/East Complex at the Virginia Horse Center on Wednesday, Sept. 10, 3 to 7 p.m., or Thursday, Sept. 11, 7 a.m. to noon. Judging begins Thursday at 1 pm. No exhibitors may be present during judging.

Now is the time to pick out artwork, photographs, home canned goods, or other homestead arts for entry in the expo. M ake p lans t o b ring fresh garden produce or a flower arrangement to help celebrate the bounty we all enjoy inRockbridge. Exhibits from counties adjoining Rockbridge are welcome, too!

Please read the expo rules carefully. Folks are encouraged to exhibit multiple items but exhibitors can enter only one item per class.

Take pride in the creative work done by you or others in your household and share your joy with others in the Rockbridge community. Categories for the expo include baked goods and candies, home canned products, fresh garden produce, needle crafts and sewing projects, a wide range of art projects, taxidermy, wood and metal shop projects, completed model kits, and more. Your participation makes the celebration!

The theme of this year’s Rockbridge Regional Fair is “Rooted in Tradition, Growing with Fun!” and all the fair activities provide everyone, young and old, opportunities to grow and learn. Browse this year’s fair book and chose how you will participate in this great community tradition!
