June 9, 2025 Editor, The News-Gazette: As the Republican primary on June 17 approaches, I am proud to support Del. Terry Austin for re-election to the Virginia House of Delegates. Austin works hard daily to represent the 37th District while also being a good steward for the State of Virginia. He is constantly on the move, sacrificing his own business and personal time to serve his district.
Locally, Austin has been a strong advocate for the Virginia Horse Center and the Rockbridge Innovation Center, as well as critical issues like childcare access. He loves to take the opportunity to build and encourage a strong work ethic in our youth. This leadership demonstrates his deep commitment to strengthening our communities and promoting economic development in our region.
Austin’s many years of experience has built the foundation for his forward-thinking common- sense approach to benefit his constituents. I encourage my fellow voters to re-elect him on June 17 so he can continue his vital work on behalf of Rockbridge County and the 37th House District.
