Prayers for the people of Kentucky and Missouri who were in the path of the tornado. Pastor Tyler Clem’s parents live in Somerset, Ky. But thankfully the tornado went around their home. On Saturday, May 17, I attended a graduation celebration of my oldest great-grandchild, Jerrad Lee Terrell, who graduated from Stuarts Draft High School Monday evening, May 19. He graduated last week from Valley Vo-Tech in Fishersville. He was certified in welding. Continue to pray for our seniors who are graduating this week. Prayers for all seniors as you go forward in your future.
Becky Hite and I traveled to Mt. Jackson to see and drive through the Meems Bottom Covered Bridge. We had stopped in Harrisonburg off of exit 251 and got us some chicken. There is a small pull off space at the bridge, so we had our lunch there. Then we drove home on U.S. 11. It was well worth the trip.
After some much needed rain, it is good to see the sun again. Everyone have a blessed week and share a kind word to those you meet this week.
