Entries Sought For SPCA Benefit Art Show

Nelson Gallery and Rockbridge SPCA are seeking entries for their first joint exhibition to be held in June. An opening reception will be held Friday, June 4, and the show will be on display until June 30.


Participants, from kindergarteners to accomplished painters, are invited to create artwork in any medium for the competition and sale, which will benefit the SPCA.

Teen Dance In Glasgow Saturday

Glasgow Community Watch will sponsor and chaperon a teen dance this Saturday, March 13, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the old Glasgow firehouse.


The dance is open to youths ages 9 to 15 from Glasgow, Natural Bridge, Buena Vista and Lexington. The Glasgow Fire Department will provide food, and door prizes will be given out.
