High Water Strands Driver, Damages Bridge

The Natural Bridge area was among those hardest hit by Monday’s heavy rains with as much as 3.57 inches of precipitation falling in the southeast portion of the county.

Members of the Glasgow and Natural Bridge fire departments assisted with voluntary evacuations on Back Run Road and other locations in that area. Glasgow firefighters returned to find their own station on Rockbridge Road filled with water.
