Lexington's Sister City in Ukraine Makes Independence Day Video for America's 250th

Lexington's sister city, Chortkiv, Ukraine, shared a video they made to celebrate America's 250th Independence Day. These are the words they sent with the video: "On behalf of the Chortkiv City Council and our community, please accept our deepest condolences on the unexpected passing of Mayor Frank W. Friedman. May he rest in peace. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, colleagues, and the entire Lexington community during this difficult time. Before receiving your message, we had prepared a short Independence Day video greeting from our Mayor and the students who will be working on the CITEdEx project for our friends in Lexington. If you feel it would still be appropriate, we would like to share it with you, as above all the video is an expression of our sincere gratitude for your friendship, your support, and the meaningful partnership between our communities.
