Dad, this is the first Veteran’s Day you won’t be with me. I want to thank you for your service in the United States Marines and the Army National Guards. You stood for what you believed in and that gives me a better understanding of what you and so many others have sacrificed for our freedom. It’s an honor to look up to Heaven and say thank God for my dad, of whom I’m quite proud of.
