Born May 19, 1943, in Lexington, he was a son of the late Avery Yeatis Chocklett and Beck Hickman Chocklett.

Sidney received his doctorate from Georgetown University and was a member of the Lexington Presbyterian Church. Mr. Chocklett retired as a communications specialist with the U.S. Pentagon and served under four presidents.

Surviving are his brother, George O. Chocklett; and several cousins.

At Sid’s request there will be no service.
