Betty Lou Jones, 80, of Lexington died Thursday, Oct. 15, 2026, in Heritage Hall. 

Born Feb. 2, 1946, in Clifton Forge, she was a daughter to the late David Lawrence Glick Sr. and Patsy Armentrout Glick.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by a sister, Patricia Glick Donald; and a brother, David L. Glick Jr.

Betty was a member of Oxford Presbyterian Church. She retired after 47 years with Rockbridge Area Social Services as a senior eligibility worker for families and children. She loved music and played the keyboard many years with the Bandoleers and Me and Mrs. Jones.   

Surviving are her husband, John Mark Jones; brother-in-law, Bob Donald; sister-in-law, Kitty Glick; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, at Oxford Presbyterian Church by Pastor Kyle Segars.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to Connection Plus Hospice.
