Wilma Lee Hobson, 75, of Lexington died Friday, Oct. 9, 2026, in Carilion Rockbridge Community Hospital. Born Sept. 19, 1951, in Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Domer Langston Wilson and Louise Clark Wilson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James E. Hobson; and two brothers, William Otho Wilson and Charles Edward Wilson. Wilma was a member of the First Baptist Church. She retired from Stonewall Jackson Hospital in the housekeeping department. Wilma loved her family and collecting antiques. Surviving are her sisters, Hilda Cooper and Ellen Merchant, both of Lexington, Carolyn Wallace of Staunton and Domer Wilson Jr. of Washington, D.C.; and special canine friend Brownie. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, at Harrison Funeral Chapel by Deacon David Dunn. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Lexington.
