Marlene Berry Smith, 66, of Rockbridge Baths died Monday, Sept. 28, 2026, at Carilion Roanoke MemorialHospital.

Born Sept. 26, 1960, she was a daughter of the late Robert H. Berry Sr. and Mary Anna Whiteside Holland.

Also preceding her in death was her brother, Robert H. Berry Jr. and stepfather, Hubert Holland.

Surviving are her siblings, Carol B. Wade (Charlie), Alan G. Berry (Alise), and Mary B. Burner; sister-in-law, Kathryn Berry; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews; and dear friend, Dale Ferrebee.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, at Ebenezer UnitedMethodist ChurchCemetery (73 McCurdy Lane, Rockbridge Baths) with Pastor William Bearden officiating.
