JEFF RATCLIFFE

JEFF RATCLIFFE

Jeff Ratcliffe went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. Jeff was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose presence brought love, laughter, and countless memories to those who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther Ratcliffe and Naomi Ratcliffe Harry; his brother, Larry Ratcliffe; and his daughter, Mandy Ratcliffe.

Jeff was a retired welder from Everbrite. A hardworking man who took great pride in what he could accomplish with his own two hands. He continued to stay busy and enjoyed working around his home after retirement.  He had just about every tool you could ever need to get any job done.

One of Jeff’s greatest passions was his family and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He coached his girls in softball and could be counted on to be at every game and practice, cheering them on every step of the way. He followed them through softball, volleyball, cheerleading and horseback riding. He never missed an opportunity to show up for the people he loved.

Jeff also had a deep love for music and his faith. He loved singing Gospel songs, and those who heard him sing will remember the beauty of his voice. His faith was an important part of who he was, and his love for the Lord will be remembered by all who knew him.

Jeff had a special place in his heart for animals. He loved them all, but his beloved cows — Annie, Izzy, and Daisy, his “girls" — held a particularly special place in his heart. He also adored his dogs “the boys,” Remi and Duke.

His family will forever treasure the memories of a man who gave so much of himself to those around him. Though he will be deeply missed, his family finds comfort in knowing that Jeff is now at peace and has gone to be with the Lord.

Jeff leaves behind his beloved wife of 26 years, Tina Ratcliffe, who was by his side throughout their life together. He is also survived by his daughters, Jenna Farris (Eric) and McKenzie Engleman (Marcus); his son, Phillip Moore (McKenna); and his grandchildren, Brayden, Addy, Blakely, and Will, who brought him tremendous joy. He is also survived by his brother, Darrell Ratcliffe (Gaynell), along with many extended family members and friends.

A memorial service celebrating Jeff’s life will be held on Friday, Sept. 18, at 5 p.m. at Greater Vision Pentecostal Assembly Church in Buena Vista. The family will receive friends beginning at 3 p.m. at the church.

Arrangements are by Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory.
