MARGARET WADE

Margaret Armstrong Wade, 86, of Lexington died Sunday, Aug. 30, 2026, at Heritage Hall.

MARGARETWADE

Born Aug. 15, 1940, in Rockbridge County, she was a daughter of the late Cecil P. Armstrong and Louise Sensabaugh Armstrong.

Also preceding her in death are her husband, Joe Lewis Wade; son, Paul Wade; and canine friend, Buddy.

Margaret was a dedicated and faithful member of Collierstown United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her children, Lewis Wade (Marie), and Robert Wade (Diane); seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a sister, Mary.

The family would like to thank the staff and residents of Heritage Hall for her care and friendship.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, at Collierstown United Methodist Church by the Rev. William Bearden.
