Andrew Winfred "Mac" McMillan, 99, of Stuarts Draft died Thursday, July 30, 2026, at Shenandoah Hospice House.  

Born June 27, 1927, he was a son of Winfred McMillan and Gladys Norton McMillan.

Mac was a retired Yellow Freight truck driver with 52 years of service. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army 1945-1947 and attended Good News Ministries in Stuarts Draft.

Surviving are his wife, Hilda Clark McMillan; son, Greg McMillan (Lynn); step children, Kim Faison (Jeff), Eddie Strickler (Jennifer), Lisa Gilkeson (Jim); brother, Billy Joe McMillan (Marie); numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family would like to extend special gratitude to Dr. Marsh and Lauren Potter with Augusta Health/Shenandoah Hospice House.

A memorial service will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Stuarts Draft Rescue Squad  (10 Manor Rd., Stuarts Draft, VA 24528.)
