Howard Ray Wines, 66, of Natural Bridge passed away Friday, July 24, 2026. 

Born on Oct. 1, 1959, he was the son of the late Roy Lacy Wines and Jean Collins Wines.

Howard proudly served his country in the United States military and retired after a dedicated career of service. He will be remembered for his commitment to his family, his country, and those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his children, Amber Ring (Joshua), Amanda Fidler (Joshua), Howard Wines (Katherine) and Samantha Wines-Vanvactor (Christopher); his 10 beloved grandchildren, Gracie, Olivia, Phillip, Branch, Brycen, Aiden, Makenzie, Lailani, Leland, and Hudson; his two cherished great-grandchildren, Sadie and Charlotte; and his siblings, Carol Snead, Roy Wines (Teresa Nicely), Shirley Bussard, and Robert "Bobby" Wines.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 31, at Harrison Funeral Chapel by Dorsey Hostetter.
