J.R. HALL

John Raymond "J.R." Hall, 50, of Lexington died Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. 

Born Sept. 4, 1975, he was a son of Ray Lee Hall and Clara Carter Hall.

Surviving are his sisters, LeAlice Hall Vest (Eric Vest) and Ginny Montgomery (John Montgomery); nephew, Adam Camden (Megan) and daughter Raylyn, John Wesley Montgomery (Kelsey) and family Elizabeth, Wesley, Trey and Hendrix; niece, Ashley Vest and her children Dylan and Airica; his cherished great-niece, Katiebug, who was like a daughter to him; his uncle Joe Carter (Libby); his aunt Sissy Fauber (Tommy); and many special friends and extended family, too many to list.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 20, at Harrison Funeral Home by the Rev. Bryan Volpe. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
