RONA BRUCE

RONA BRUCE

Rona Mason Bruce passed away peacefully on July 14, 2026, after a 15-month battle with pancreatic cancer. She was 62 years old.

Rona was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. Above all, she was deeply committed to her personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and her faith was central to the way she lived her life. She shared 25 years of marriage with her husband, Aaron, building a life and family together marked by love, commitment, and faith.

One of Rona's greatest joys was tending her flower gardens. She found delight in cultivating beautiful flowers and took pride in creating colorful spaces that reflected her appreciation for God's creation. The beauty she nurtured in her gardens brought joy not only to her, but also to the family, friends, and neighbors who enjoyed them.

Rona had a long and accomplished career in real estate and held her broker's license. Her dedication to her profession and the people she served was recognized when she was named Realtor of the Year in both 2008 and 2025—an honor spanning nearly two decades of her career.

Rona loved her family deeply and took great joy in being a mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Aaron Bruce; her parents, Carnes and Dianne Mason; her children, Seth (Lauren) Fauber, Aaron (Chelsia) Fauber, and Judah (Abby) Bruce; her grandchildren, Hudson Fauber and Sadie Kate Fauber; her sisters, Kim (Cliff) Goldstein and Lisa (Don) Lawrence; and her brother, Chip Mason.

Rona's life will be remembered in the family she loved, the friendships she formed, the professional community she served, and the many lives she touched. Her family is deeply grateful for the years they shared with her and will carry her memory with them in the years ahead.

A celebration of life will be held at the Waynesboro SeventhDay AdventistChurch on Wednesday, July 22, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends from noon until time of the service at the church.

The family would like to thank Hospice, and the doctors and nurses at the UVA cancer center in both Charlottesville and Augusta- God bless you for your commitment to your calling.

Arrangements are by Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory.
