Born Jan. 12, 1966, he was a son of Mary J. Fitzgerald and the late Clyde Fitzgerald.

Also preceding him in death was his brother, Clyde “Peanut” Fitzgerald.

Boyd was a self employed carpenter for many years.

Surviving are his daughters, Tianna Mizer and Samantha Beverly; significant other, Melissa Gayhart; grandchildren, Marquise Beverly, Malaysia Poindexter, Winifred Poindexter and Kiandre Barner; siblings, Troy Fitzgerald, Tammy Guy, Deborah Bane and Larry Fitzgerald; and many other family members and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday, June 18, at Harrison Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
