DONALD HOSTETTER

Donald Lee Hostetter passed away on June 4, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. He was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Donald was known for his love of the outdoors and the joy he found in sharing it with others. Whether he was hunting in the woods, fishing on a quiet morning, or sitting around a campfire with family and friends, he was happiest when surrounded by the people he loved. He created countless memories through camping trips, outdoor adventures, and time spent teaching others the skills and traditions he cherished.

Above all, Donald loved his family. He was a proud father and grandfather whose strength, guidance, and sense of humor left a lasting impression on those closest to him. His family was the center of his life, and he took great pride in the accomplishments and happiness of his children and grandchildren.

Donald will be remembered for his kind heart, hardworking nature, and willingness to help anyone in need. His stories, laughter, and love for the outdoors will live on in the hearts of family and friends for years to come.

Donald was preceded in death by his father, Sylva D. Hostetter, and by his grandparents William C. Hostetter and his wife, Emily M. Hostetter.

Donald is survived by his children: Joshua Hostetter and his wife, Hailey, and their daughters, Scarlett and Nora; Logan Hostetter and his fiancée, Ella, and their son, Walker; Emiley Hostetter and her fiancé, Daquan, and their sons, Dreydan and Zyaire; Hailey Hostetter and her daughter, Khloe; Calleigh Hostetter-Blake and her husband, Isaiah Blake, as they await the arrival of their first child; Mckenna Hostetter and her fiancée, Tyler; Baylee Hostetter and her partner, Payton Cauley; and Remmington Hostetter.

He is also survived by his sister, Becky Houghtaling, and her husband, Wally, and their children, Austin, Aaron, Ashlynn and Alec; his brother, Willy Hostetter; and his sister, Holly Vanderveer, and her husband, Lee, and their children, Brooke and Tabitha.

Donald is also survived by his two beloved dogs, Dolly and Atlas, as well as many extended family members, friends, and loved ones who will cherish his memory.

Family and friends are invited to gather with the family for a time of visitation and remembrance from 10 to 11 a.m. at Greater Vision Church on Saturday, June 13. A celebration of Donald’s life will follow at 11 a.m. Family and friends are welcome to share memories and honor his life and legacy.

Donald was cremated in accordance with his wishes. NG
