Born July 24, 1955, she was a daughter of David Hughes Stoner Sr. and Edith Virginia Watkins Stoner.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Hilbert Johnson, Carolyn Reid, Charlene Austin and David Stoner Jr.

Betty was a retired sales associate at Walmart.

Surviving are her husband, Calvin Austin; children Jessica Hayslett (Robbie) and Darby Moore; grandchildren Danielle, Jacob, Kayla (Kalib), Keylie and Riley; and siblings Catherine Miller, and Randolph Johnson.

A memorial service will be at a later date.
