Born May 18, 1957, he was a son of Barbara Ann Watson and the late James Roland Roper.

James was a mechanic who would work on various types of machinery, vehicles, mowers, etc. He also loved woodworking.

Surviving are his wife, Tommie Lea Roper; son, Joseph Roper; grandson, Jax Roper; and brothers, Steve Roper (twin) and Bobby Roper.

Per James’ request, no service will be held.
