Ronald Coleman Cash, 78, of Staunton, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2026. 

He was born April 7, 1948, in Clifton Forge, to the late Earnest Divers Cash and Bessie Morris Cash.     

He was also preceded in death by son, Brian Cash; sister, Hazel Cash Graybell; and brothers, Marvin Cash and Michael Cash.

Surviving are his daughters, Melinda Hayslett, Amanda Cater and Karrie Jo Bream; son, Preston Cash; 10 grandchildren, Cane Hayslett, McKenna Hayslett, Riley Bream, Parker Bream, Bethany Yates, Katlyn Cook, Gavin Cook, Adam Cater, Ethan Cater, and Tucker Cater; two great-grandchildren; and brothers, Wayne Cash and Stanley Cash; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

A celebration of life will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 16, at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Chris Fisher. Burial will be at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
