Born Oct. 8, 1947, he was a son of Hardy W. Forren and Glenna May Butler Forren.

Charles retired as a custodian/ painter at Washington and Lee University. He enjoyed being outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.

Surviving are his children, Cherrie Forren, Michael Forren and Charles Steven Forren; two grandchildren, Hailey Leighton and Devon Forren; siblings Carl Forren, Ricky Forren, Claude Forren, Faye Lotts Bunch and Eddie Butler; and lifelong friend, Linda Brunty.

A visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 26, at Harrison Funeral Home.
