MARSHALL DAVIS

Born May 8, 1940, he was a son of the late W.S. Davis and Agnes Henry Davis.
Marshall graduated from Bradley Central High School in Cleveland, Tenn., in 1958. He then went to the University of Alabama and played football under Coach Paul “Bear” Bryant. After college, he did his patriotic duty serving four years in the U.S. Navy. Marshall retired from Mueller Industries as their manager/director of engineering in 2004. Afterwards, he and his wife, Nancy moved in the Lexington area in 2005 and started construction of their “forever” home.
Surviving is his wife of 60 years, Nancy Holub Davis; and cousin Ann Gray (Bill) of Cleveland, Tenn.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 25, at Harrison Funeral Chapel with Father Maxwell Appiagyei and the Rev. Skip Hastings officiating. Burial will follow at Collierstown Presbyterian Cemetery.
