Born March 8, 1955, in Lexington, he was a son of the late Grover Morrison Potter and Mary Catherine Toman Potter.

Ricky had been employed by Dana Manufacturing and then retired from Everbrite as a assembly tech. He loved cars and enjoyed working on them from the time he was young.

Surviving are his son, Jacob Potter and wife Emily.

A funeral was conducted Monday, March 2, at Harrison Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Dean Staton. Burial followed at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements were by Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory.
