TOYE ENTSMINGER
Toye Lane Entsminger, 63, of Lexington peacefully departed this life to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2026.
Surrounded by the love of family and friends, Toye made her transition home, leaving behind a legacy of faith, warmth and unwavering devotion to those she loved.
Born in Lexington, Toye was a proud graduate of Lexington High School. She carried her hometown pride with her throughout her life and remained deeply rooted in the community that helped shape her.
Toye dedicated many years of faithful service to The Palms and later to W&L Dining Services, where she worked diligently until her health no longer allowed her to continue. She took great pride in her work and was known for her strong work ethic, kind spirit, and the genuine care she showed to everyone she encountered. Whether serving meals or sharing conversation, Toye made lasting impressions through her welcoming smile and compassionate heart.
A woman of deep faith, Toye loved the Lord and was a proud and devoted member of First BaptistChurch NaturalBridge. Her faith sustained her through life’s joys and challenges, and she never hesitated to share her love of Christ with others. She found strength in scripture, comfort in prayer, and joy in fellowship.
Above all, Toye cherished her family. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Ryan Nicole, and her precious grandson, Jeremiah, who were truly her whole world. She also leaves to cherish her memory her loving life partner, Randy Scott; her parents, Brenda and Jerry Entsminger; her siblings, Deborah (Hugh) Bolen, Misty (Don) Tellock, Jamilyn (Bobby) Floyd, Clay Burch, and Faith Havran; her protector and special nephew McKinley; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives she touched deeply.
Toye was preceded in death by her mother, Zeanette Burch.
