Bernard Lee DeMarco Jr., 67, of Buena Vista, passed away Monday, Feb. 23, 2026. 

He was born Aug. 5, 1958, in Washington, D.C., to the late Bernard Lee DeMarco Sr. and Margaret Louise Tyrrell DeMarco.       

Surviving are his wife of 17 years, Penny DeMarco; children, Robert G. Arthurs (Angela) and David M. Hamilton (Kim); sisters, Christina M. DeMarco-Valdez (Frank), Therese Ann Hansen (Bob), and Suzanne L. Hicks (Eric); brother, Anthony M. DeMarco; mother-in-law, Shirley Hays; niece, Miranda; nephew, Joshua and great nephew, Jadyn.

A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, at West View Pentecostal HolinessChurch by Pastor Donnie Camden. 

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Rockbridge Community Church Food Pantry.
