WANDA HOSTETTER

She was born on Oct. 25, 1943, to Lawrence and Hilda (Holland) Camden.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Imogene Vest; brother in-law, Ted Vest; and a brother, Larry Camden.
She is survived and missed by her loving husband of 62 years, Frank Hostetter; two children, Renee Hamilton (Alan) and Michelle Cochran (Jeff); four grandchildren, Kaitlyn Darby (Aaron), Zach Hamilton (Sara), Logan Staton (Alisha) and Cameron Staton; and six great-grandchildren, Easton, Reece, Baylee, Riley, Harper and Ko. She was also known as “Sissy” to a special nephew, Tim Vest (Tamyra), and a special niece, Terry Smyth (Owen).
Wanda was a lifelong member of Ben Salem Presbyterian Church. Wanda was the heart of her family. She was such a gentle, kind and caring person who was loved and adored by her kids and grandkids. Wanda enjoyed cooking, sewing, watching University of Virginia basketball and working in her flower beds outside. Wanda will be deeply missed.
The family would like to thank Tammy Hernandez, her caregiver, and Connections Plus Health Care and Hospice for their compassionate care.
A memorial service will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 23, at Ben Salem Presbyterian Church by Greg Jewett.
