David was born on Aug. 20, 1960, in Lexington to Henry and Doris Weeks. He was a beloved son, father, grandfather, sibling and friend who touched the lives of all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Weeks; brother Timmy Weeks; mother-in-law Evelyn “Petie” Mason; and father- in-law Johnny Mason.

David is survived by wife Rosa Weeks; daughter Marie Weeks and son-in-law Douglas Cash; grandson Reid Cash and Landon Cash; granddaughter Brooklyn Beverly; sister Cyndi Farrar and Chester; brother Stephen Weeks and Janice; mother Doris Weeks; sister-in-law Andi Weeks; in-laws Bryant and Dana Mason, Johnny Mason, Randy Mason and Kathy Fravel, and Chris and Melanie Mason; and many nieces and nephews.

David was known for his kind heart, his dedicated and hard work ethic, his love for Rosa, his family, umpiring baseball and the Dallas Cowboys. His legacy of kindness, generosity and dedication will be fondly remembered by friends and family.

A family night to honor and celebrate David’s life will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 22, at Harrison Funeral Home. Friends and loved ones are welcome to attend and share memories.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to your local SPCA, a cause close to David’s heart.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
