John Henry Guscatt Sr. 

John Henry Guscatt Sr. 79, of Lexington passed away Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2026. 

He was born in Ishpeming, Mich., the son of Alvin Merton Guscatt and Kathryn Frances Garrett Guscatt.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, John Henry Guscatt Jr., and brother, Timothy Phillip Guscatt.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Eva Charlene Burch Guscatt; daughters, Savonna Sue Lessley (Christopher Puder), Kathryn Michelle Guscatt, and Amanda Nicole Clark (Shawn); six grandchildren, David Scott Smith, Harlie Michelle Grimm (Hollis), Emily Grace Clark, Abbigail Faith Clark, Evianna McKinleigh Guscatt and Ashley Marie Puder; and three great-grandchildren.   

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery.

Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 16, at Bolling, Grose and Lotts Funeral Home.
