Roger was a dedicated and accomplished professional, having served as a manufacturing executive at both Burlington and Mohawk Industries before enjoying a well-deserved retirement. His career was marked by a commitment to excellence and a passion for leadership.
A man of varied interests, Roger was a licensed pilot who found great joy in flying his cherished Beechcraft Bonanza. He was also an avid golfer, delighting in rounds with his grandchildren and friends, and he treasured the opportunity to play at the renowned St. Andrews Old Course in Scotland.
Roger and his beloved wife, Dianne, shared countless adventures driving across the country to visit family and friends in Arkansas and British Columbia, Canada. A devoted fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks, Roger’s enthusiasm for his alma mater was unwavering.
Roger pursued higher education at the University of Arkansas Monticello, where he was a proud member of Phi Lambda Chi and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary (Robbins) Miller; his loving wife, Dianne; his sister, Betty Jean; and his brothers, Billy, Johnny “Bobby,” and Sammy.
He is survived by his brother, Elbert (Rose) Miller; his sons, Christopher (Julie Wellbrock) and Todd (Dannielle) Wellbrock; his granddaughters, Jenny (Vince) Landry and Kelly (Ken) Reddy; his grandsons, Adam, Nicholas, Kyle, and Trevor Wellbrock; and many cherished nieces and nephews and beloved lifelong friends.
In accordance with Roger’s wishes, no formal services will be held. His family and friends will remember him fondly and cherish the memories of a life well-lived.” NG
