Nancy Sours Reed, 82, of Rockbridge Baths, passed peacefully Saturday, Jan. 10, 2026, at the home of her youngest son David. 

Born October 12, 1943, she was a daughter of the late William Henry Sours and Carrie Bell Sours.

Also preceding her in death was her husband since 1968, John Chalvin Reed.

Nancy was a member of MarlbrookBaptist Church

Surviving are her sons, Michael Chalvin Reed (Marie), Gary Scott Reed, and Davie Lee Reed; two grandsons, Dylan Tate Reed (Maddie), and Dustin Scott Reed; and sister Catherine Coffey (Eddie).

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, at Harrison Funeral Home by the Rev. John Tilley. Burial will follow at Bethesda Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 16, at the funeral home.
