He was born on June 30, 1940, in Brownsburg, the son of the late Jack Conner and Margaret Fix.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Conner, and brothers, Jackie Conner and Whitt Conner.

Surviving are his children, Ashley Flint (Rob), Chris Shafer, and Steve Conner; one special granddaughter, who is like a daughter, Lacey Moore (Dylan); five other grandchildren, Austin, Marshall, Jacob, Lexi and Emily; and sisters, Mary Plogger, Betty Dell Britton, Patsy “Jeanne” Edens, Rosebud Higgins and Annie Mae Jackson.

Family will receive friends at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 26, at Bolling, Grose and Lotts Funeral Home.
