Lisa Hazelwood, 60, of Buena Vista, passed away Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025. 

Born Dec. 28, 1964, in Lexington, she was the daughter of the late George Oliver Hazelwood Jr. and Lois Ann Rice Hazelwood. 

Lisa was employed at VMI.

Surviving are her daughter, Kelly Patterson Mills; son, Jonathan K. Patterson; six grandchildren, Dax Patterson, Robert Mills, Kaylee Patterson, Madelynn Patterson, Knox Dancy, and Weston Patterson; sister, Jan Rogers and husband of North Carolina; brother, Kevin Hazelwood of Lexington; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Per Lisa’s request there will be no service. 

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
