PEGGY PATTERSON

Peggy Sue Patterson, 65, passed away Nov. 22, 2025, at Carilion Roanoke MemorialHospital. 

She was born Aug. 18, 1960, the daughter of Billy James Kester and Peggy Ruth White Kester. 

Peggy was married to Gregory Michael Patterson, who preceded her in death in 2009, and was a full-time housewife and homemaker. She loved to read and watch TV. In her younger days, Peggy loved to ride horses. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved to write poetry. 

She is survived by a son, Eric N. Stevens and wife Lorry, with children Daily and Kimber, all from Goshen; a sister, Dee Gates of Kingsman, Arizona; a brother-in-law, Steve Patterson of Florida; a special friend, Mary Karr of Goshen; and a special cousin, Teresa Dean of Goshen.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, at Goshen Presbyterian Church with Pastor Bobby Spurgeon officiating. Interment will be in Goshen Baptist Cemetery.
