CALVIN COFFEY

Calvin Eason Coffey, 86, of Buena Vista, passed away Sunday, Nov. 30, 2025. 

He was born June 24, 1939, in Rockbridge County to the late Gilmer Coffey and Catherine Wiseman Coffey.       

He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Mildred Coffey, and second wife, Jeanette Coffey; and sisters, Darlis Pruitt and Dorlene Snider.

Surviving are his children, Pam Breeden (Danny) of Buena Vista, Troy Coffey (Virginia) of Troutville, and Mark Coffey of Buena Vista; grandchildren, Nicholas Coffey of Manassas, Calvin Coffey of Troutville, and Jordan Coffey of Harrisonburg; brothers, Tommy Coffey (Ida) of Rockbridge Baths and Ray Coffey (Donna) of Tennessee; and brother-in-law, Garry Pruitt (Linda) of Staunton.

A funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Kevin Haynes. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery. 

Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, at Bolling, Grose and Lotts Funeral Home.
