Born Jan. 3, 1947, in Botetourt County, he was a son of the late Charmer Lee Hall Sr. and Ruth Irene McCulloch Hall.

Also preceding him in death was his wife, Linda McKemy Hall.

Charmer was employed by Kroger for 37 years and retired as crew manager. He loved to hunt, fish and mow grass.

Surviving are his children, Tammy Ramsey (David), Charmer Hall III (Chrissy), and Troy Hall (Lori); grandchildren, J.W. (Ashley), Brook (Liam), Trevor (Katie), Austin, Peyton, and Autumn, Kyler; and greatgrandchildren, Henlee and Tucker.

A funeral was conducted Friday, Nov. 7, at Harrison Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Jay Thorne. Burial followed at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens.
