KAY KING
KAY KING
She was born Nov. 15, 1959, in Lexington to the late Andrew King and Katherine Camden King.
Kay is survived by her siblings, Vickie Eppard (Paul), Andrew King (Doris) and Katrina Butner (Tim); nephew and nieces Christopher Tolley Sr. (Carolyn), Brianna King Heisel (Marc), Devon King Knick (Patrick), and Megan Clark (Alex); along with nine great nieces and nephews.
Kay graduated from Parry McCluer High School in 1978. She worked at various local manufacturing businesses in the area, most recently at Sayre Enterprises. Her friends and coworkers there called her Jackie because she was fierce and small like a Jack Russell.
Kay was only 4’9” on a good day but she was a spitfire when she needed to be. Kay will forever be remembered for her passionate nature, and her determined personality. She was very vivacious, had a good sense of humor and had a spunkiness about her. She loved her family and friends deeply and passionately. She loved the holidays and having everyone come together was always very important to her. She leaves behind a beloved cat, Tippy, that is already missing her.
The family would like to thank Kathy Painter for her continued support and care for Kay over the past few months.
A celebration of life was conducted Monday, Nov. 10, at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel by Pastor Ralph Coleman. Burial followed in the Green Hill Cemetery.
Arrangements were handled by Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home. NG
