He was born on May 26, 1959, to Charles Alan Roper and Patricia Beach Roper.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Cathy Roper Sullivan, and is survived by his niece, Audrey Keller Gilani.

Mr. Roper was a retired electrician who enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and spending time with friends. He was also an avid fan of Notre Dame football.

A special thanks goes to John and Andrew McCoy, Josh Hill, Jason Coleman, Lance Kimble and Spencer Suter for their care, friendship and support over the years.

No service is scheduled at this time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Natural Bridge Glasgow Food Pantry.
