Born Aug. 22, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Orie Mc-Clellan Vest, Sr. and Ruth Frances Muterspaw Vest.

Also preceding her in death were her husband, Paul Curtis Chittum; son, P.C. Chittum Jr.; and grandson, Christopher Ayers.

Surviving are her daughter, Pamela Ayers (Kevin); granddaughter Michelle Oehmke (Joshua); great-grandchildren Olive Oehmke and Owen Oehmke; brother Orie “Sam” Vest Jr. (Violet); several nieces, nephews and favorite feline friend Frisky.

A graveside service was conducted Saturday, Nov. 1, at Kerrs Creek Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Clifford Hall.

Arrangements were by Harrison Funeral Home and Crematory.
